Tuition and Fees: Payment Deadlines

Tuition and fee payment due date is a Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board procedure (5.12.3). Payment deadlines may vary. If you are enrolled in online courses taught by different colleges, you may have more than one payment deadline. Failure to make a payment or payment arrangement by the deadline, may lead to your registration being canceled for nonpayment.

Veteran students should refer to the Minnesota deferred tuition payment policy if collecting military educational benefits.

You must make acceptable arrangements with each college teaching your online course(s), before the registration cancellation for nonpayment deadline.

Your home and partner colleges offer several ways you can maintain your course registrations:

  • File a Free Application For Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) application online, OR
  • Submit a payment authorization form from your funding agency, employer, school district or VA to the billing office OR
  • Create a payment plan and make a down payment of 15% or $300, whichever is less, OR
  • Pay the bill in full by credit card, money order, or check.

Tip: View your entire bill and amount due to each college through eServices by selecting the “Bills and Payment” from the menu on the left of the webpage after logging in.
