First three 360 eTECH high school students graduate from Lake Superior College

Three graduates holding their diplomas

The 360 Manufacturing Center of Excellence has the pleasure of saluting its first three graduates from Cook County High School enrolled in the 360 eTECH program.

These three students began their college journey in Fall 2014, taking both foundational manufacturing education courses and specialized welding courses. They graduated Spring 2016 from Cook County High School with their high school diploma and from Lake Superior College with their 30-credit Welding Technology certificate.

The 360 eTECH program has helped these students further their education by earning college credit in high school and gaining important skills, preparing them for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Certification. Through the 360 eTECH program, these graduates were able to learn the skills in manufacturing such as print reading, safety, quality, manufacturing processing, and welding.

The 360 Manufacturing Center of Excellence is excited that the 360 eTECH program has grown and is helping more students find their future in manufacturing.
