360 funds youth outreach events at our partner colleges to build students’ interest in modern manufacturing careers, improve the perception of manufacturing, and build youth’s skills in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).
This past summer, 360 funded 10 summer camps that reached over 200 youth. Youth and their parents also received information through Dream It. Do It. Minnesota to promote advanced manufacturing careers.
Students were surveyed about their experiences. The results showed that:
- 95% had increased confidence in their STEM abilities.
- 94% were more aware of manufacturing careers.
- 82% were interested in manufacturing careers.
- 91% had a better perception of manufacturing careers.
360 continues to support youth outreach events through our partner colleges to reach youth and their influencers, including summer camps, career expos, and robotics.
