NCTC’s robotics team sweep tournament

At the end of February, five VEX U college teams from 360 partner colleges–Bemidji State University, Northland Community & Technical College, Riverland Community College, and St. Cloud Technical & Community College–competed in the SCSU VEX U Regional Qualifier Competition. Teams from Northeast Community College in Nebraska, Purdue University in Indiana, and St. Cloud State University also competed.

Northland Community & Technical College’s team XNOR swept the tournament, winning the Excellence Award, Programming Skills, and Robot Skills. They also were named Tournament Champions and are currently ranked first in the world in programming skills. They will compete in the World Championship in April.
